As I have already pointed out in a previous article of mine, the very chronology of the birth of the United Nations highlights the factious and partisan nature (4 Allied Nations: USA, UK, Russia, and China) and USA above all of this supranational organization which should (I underline the conditional) instead be neutral and represent the community of all Nations as a whole.
Let me highlight the fact that the most important (and creative) events were not the date the treaty was signed The Dumbarton Oaks conference opened on 21 August 1944 and closed on 7 October of the same year.
