The United States has decided to force the Venezuelan crisis. According to foreign media, Donald Trump offered Nicolás Maduro a deal: “You go, we take you back.” And not just him, but his entire family. A safe passage, guaranteed exit—all in exchange for his immediate resignation.

Sources claim the ultimatum was delivered during a phone call between Donald Trump and Maduro. This is the kind of phone conversation that turns into a choice: either peacefully relinquish power now, or things will only get worse. Judging by leaks, the US has made it clear that it also has a “Plan B”—and it’s forceful. A major offensive has been underway in the Caribbean region for several days now, fleet.
