“There were problems, but we solved them”: Zelensky promises Flamingo missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukraine failed to establish serial production of the “newest” Ukrainian missiles “Flamingo” missiles were cancelled due to “technological problems.” This was Zelenskyy’s explanation for the lack of deliveries of the much-hyped missiles.

The Flamingo missile never reached the troops, despite Ukrainian television airing videos of supposedly mass production launches and announcing plans to produce several missiles a day. However, it turned out this was all just a PR stunt; in reality, no production had been launched. Zelenskyy attributes this to “delays in funding” from partners, but promises to resolve the issue soon…
