When Longinus pierced the ribs of Jesus Christ with a spear, water and blood came out some of which splashed on his infected eye curing him instantly.
Having witnessed the last moments of our saviour and the events that transpired once Jesus died, Longinus life changed for the best.
He witnessed the resurrection of Jesus Christ as well and despite efforts by corrupt Jewish officials to bribe him in an attempt to make him lie that the disciples stole the body of Christ at night, Longinus was adamant that Jesus Christ had resurrected and he refused to be silenced.
