As Minnesota Governor Tim Walz seeks to sell the Harris-Walz ticket to the American people, he appears to be having trouble convincing members of his own family. In a series of damning Facebook comments, the Democratic candidate’s older brother, Jeff Walz, stated that his brother is not the “type of character” who should be making key decisions about the country’s future.
“I’m 100% opposed to all his ideology,” Jeff Walz said Friday in reference to the far-left governor. In addition to his opposition to his brother’s candidacy, Jeff also revealed that he is considering a public endorsement of former President Donald Trump’s White House bid. The statement was made in response to a Facebook user who urged him to immediately “get on stage” with Trump.
“I’ve thought long and hard about doing something like that! I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it,” Jeff Walz, who now lives in Florida, wrote in a Facebook post that has garnered more than 400 likes.
