Trans Health Group Recommends Kids Start ‘Gender Transition’ At 14 Years Old

According to documents obtained by the Associated Press, a leading transgender health association will be lowering the recommended minimum age to begin the gender transition process to just 14 years of age.

This means teens will be recommended hormones when they are 14, followed by gender transition surgeries starting at age 15. Thus lowering the current age recommendation by one year. Notably, the administering of these estrogen and testosterone sex hormones are lifelong treatments.

Breast removal for biological females will be suggested at the age of 15, and genital surgeries for both men and women will be suggested at age of 17. The organization will continue to recommend puberty blockers to girls who are between 8 and 13 years old, and boys between 10 and 15…
