Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will take the lead in upgrading the nation’s aviation system, setting off a sharp exchange with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The confrontation began when Duffy announced in a social media post that DOGE would participate in efforts to enhance the nation’s aviation system.

Clinton quickly responded, criticizing the idea.
“They have no relevant experience. Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car,” she wrote.
“And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s already deteriorated on your watch?”
Duffy did not hold back in his response.
“Madam Secretary, with all due respect, ‘experienced’ Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out,” he replied.
