A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to end its deployment of federalized California National Guard troops in Los Angeles.
U.S. District Court Judge Charles Breyer ruled President Trump does not have the authority to maintain the troops under federal control without a clear emergency and ordered Gov. Gavin Newsom to receive control of the troops.
