Trump asks 2016 supporters, ‘Are you still with me?’

President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign, already awash in donations, is stepping up its fundraising by asking his 2016 supporters if they still have his back.

In a “2020 Election Kickoff” fundraising letter, the president wrote, “It’s time to come together, once again, to defy the pundits, the pollsters and the naysayers to continue our fight to Keep America Great. And I have one question: Are you still with me?”

The letter warns that Democrats will trash his efforts if they win the White House, and he urged donors to write a check “NOW.” In return, he promised a GOP landslide.

“This election is not just about beating Democrats,” said Trump.

“They want to dismantle border security, pack the courts with liberals, socialize medicine, punish business, tax working Americans to death, us your tax dollars to fund their pet projects, in short, reverse every inch of progress we’ve made in restoring America’s greatness,” said Trump.

“Now is Day One of the battle to win what I truly believe will be the biggest Republican landslide victory in memory,” he concluded.

The Trump campaign has raised money at a record pace going into a campaign that could cost a total of $2 billion.

Trump has struggled to keep his approval ratings above 45%, but in a newly released Zogby Analytics poll, he is beating every Democratic presidential candidate except Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who he is tied with.
