The latest Emerson Poll on the Wisconsin GOP primary for governor shows Trump-endorsed businessman Tim Michels within two points of Pence-endorsed Rino Rebecca Kleefisch. The GOP establishment’s pick Kleefisch receives 41% to conservative Michels’s 39% among very likely Republican primary voters.
Republican candidate and the other conservative Tim Ramthun, is polling around 8%.
The margin of error on the poll, fielded August 3-5, is 3.2%. (Nicholson, also on the list in the poll has already dropped out.)
While Ramthun, along with Michels, has taken a strong stand against election fraud in Wisconsin, he is in the unfortunate position of now enabling Kleefisch to snatch victory away from motivated conservative Republicans seeking reform and integrity in their state.
