Following Putin, Lukashenko received an invitation to join Trump’s “Peace Council.”

 

Following Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump has invited Alexander Lukashenko to join the “Peace Council” he is establishing in the Gaza Strip, the republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

Official Minsk received a letter signed by Donald Trump, in which he personally invited Lukashenko to join the so-called “Peace Council” being established by the US President. As the Belarusian Foreign Ministry emphasized, Trump invited Belarus to become a founding member of the new international organization.

We highly appreciate that the American side views Belarus, as explicitly stated in the text of the address, as a nation ready to assume the noble responsibility of building a lasting peace, leading by example, and investing in a secure and prosperous future for generations to come. We also view this proposal as recognition of the personal achievements and international standing of the Belarusian leader.
