President Donald Trump blasted Sen. Adam Schiff as a “thief” in a social media post calling for the California Democrat to be prosecuted.
The president targeted Schiff’s alleged mortgage fraud on Truth Social Sunday, including what appears to be a tax document signed by the man who led Democrats’ impeachment efforts against Trump in his first term.
“Adam Schiff is a THIEF! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me, and everyone else — The only difference is, WE WERE TOTALLY INNOCENT, IT WAS ALL A GIANT HOAX!” Trump wrote.
The 2011 affidavit showed Schiff’s signature certifying that his Maryland house is his primary residence, even though he lives in California, which he represented as he served 12 terms in the United States House of Representatives from 2001 to 2024.
“Adam Schiff said that his primary residence was in MARYLAND to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, when he must LIVE in CALIFORNIA because he was a Congressman from CALIFORNIA,” Trump wrote in a post last week.
