President Donald Trump delivered the first State of the Union address of his second term to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night.
During the president’s speech, the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States was repeatedly mentioned, and he insisted that “our destiny is written by the hand of Providence.”
The Trump administration’s accomplishments also loomed large during the address, and the president used the platform to recognize several people, both living and deceased, with honors including the Purple Heart and the Congressional Medal of Honor…
