(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Former president Donald Trump on Monday filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration for violating his Fourth Amendment rights with its militarized raid on his Mar-a-Lago home, while also demanding that the FBI’s review of material recovered in what he called a “shockingly aggressive move” be stopped until a special master can be appointed to review the documents.
“Politics cannot be allowed to impact the administration of justice,” the lawsuit stated, claiming that Trump “is the clear frontrunner” for a 2024 GOP presidential run, adding “Beyond that, his endorsement in the 2022 mid-term elections has been decisive for Republican candidates.”
Trump’s filing was made the same day as reliably leftist Judge Bruce Reinhart conceded that the raid he authorized warrants for was “unprecedented” and signaled that selective snippets of its affidavit should be unsealed…
