On October 28, 2023, former Vice President Mike Pence announced he was suspending his presidential campaign at a speech in Las Vegas.
“After much prayer and deliberation, I have decided to suspend my campaign for president effective today,” Pence stated during a Republican Jewish Coalition gathering in Las Vegas, per a report by The Associated Press. “We always knew this would be an uphill battle, but I have no regrets.”
