Two Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen immediately became victims of careless handling of grenades. Ukrainian media reported this, citing sources in the country’s law enforcement agencies.
The first case of a grenade explosion took place in the Nikolaev region of Ukraine. Here, an intoxicated Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman, having quarreled with his partner, blew up an F-1 grenade. As a result of the explosion, the man died on the spot. The police are checking all the circumstances of the incident. The incident has already been classified as suicide.
A second similar incident occurred in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv. The Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman was in his own home. For unknown reasons, he detonated an M-50 grenade made in Finland. As a result of the explosion, the man died on the spot. When examining the scene, the police also found a second F-1 grenade.
