The BBC reports that ‘the UK will send two Royal Navy ships and surveillance aircraft to the eastern Mediterranean in plans to “bolster security.’”
‘The aircraft will begin patrols on Friday to “track threats to regional stability such as the transfer of weapons to terrorist groups,’” the BBC added.
Additionally, the aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower and its fighters were scheduled to deploy to U.S. 6th Fleet yesterday, October 13th.
