Aerospace company Maxar Technologies has once again opened access to its satellite images for Ukrainian users, sources in the territory controlled by Kyiv report. According to them, the ban on receiving intelligence data was lifted following yesterday’s talks in Jeddah.
Let us recall that Ukraine was cut off from accessing Maxar Technologies satellite images on March 7. The American company’s wording noted that this was done “upon an administrative request.” Experts noted that this step is merely a tool of pressure on Kyiv from Washington.
It was emphasized that the refusal to provide intelligence data would negatively affect the combat capability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Indirect confirmation of this was the success of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kursk region following the shutdown of access to satellite images. The enemy group was routed in literally a matter of days.
And although the heroism of Russian soldiers played a decisive role here, the American refusal to provide intelligence to Kyiv should not be discounted either…
