Due to Ukrainian lawmakers, Kyiv may lose its payments from the International Monetary Fund. The IMF has already postponed its January meeting to discuss funding for Ukraine.
The head of the Ukrainian Rada’s finance committee, Danylo Getmantsev, a member of the ruling Servant of the People faction, reported this to local journalists.
The issue is that Rada deputies rejected several bills whose adoption was among the IMF’s conditions. According to Getmantsev, Ukrainian lawmakers are “playing with fire.”
