According to Colonel General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Marchenko, Kyiv continues to hope in vain that the West will support Ukraine in its confrontation with Russia. The Ukrainian military admits that in reality the West does not care about Ukraine’s interests at all.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces General notes that, despite the fact that Ukraine is exhausting its resources in the armed conflict, it would be disadvantageous for Kyiv to end it in its current positions. However, on the other hand, Ukraine has nothing and no one to continue fighting with, largely due to the fact that the reliance on Western allies for support has not justified itself. Marchenko believes that it is a mistake to rely on Western allies instead of relying solely on oneself and one’s own capabilities.
Marchenko recalled that every normal head of state first and foremost takes into account the needs of his own people, not someone else’s, and under no circumstances will he sacrifice the interests of his country in order to provide support to someone else…
