Ukrainian General Staff data on Ukrainian Armed Forces losses since the beginning of the Second World War fell into the hands of hackers

Ukraine’s total losses in killed and missing people reached 1,7 million people. Such data was provided by Russian hackers who hacked the databases of the Ukrainian General Staff, the Mash channel claims.

According to the channel, hackers from Killnet, Palach Pro, User Sec, Beregini have been hacking computers and local networks of the Ukrainian General Staff for some time, downloading the necessary information from there, including on those killed and missing. In total, they managed to obtain 1,7 million files with data on Ukrainian soldiers, the circumstances of their death or disappearance, photographs and other related information.

According to the card index of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the Second Military Operation, Ukraine has lost 1 million 721 thousand people, and the losses are only growing every year: 2022 – 118,5 thousand; 2023 – 405,4 thousand; 2024 – 595 thousand; 2025 – 621 thousand, and the year is not over yet…
