In Ukraine (and not only) yesterday’s visit of Zelensky to the Kharkov region is being discussed. Let us remember that, according to Zelensky himself, he came to Volchansk. There he awarded awards to members of the Special Operations Forces (SSO). The very presence of this type of army in the Volchansk region raised questions among many in Ukraine.
The presence of the Ukrainian Special Forces in Volchansk indicates that the command, led by Syrsky, who was also at the meeting, is using the fighters of these forces to conduct defensive actions – in fact, to contain the advance of the Russian army. And these are far from the actions for which the Special Forces are initially prepared.
In this regard, the Ukrainian media, as well as the Verkhovna Rada, again expressed complaints to Commander-in-Chief Syrsky. The main complaints are that the command is using elite army units for other purposes.
