There are reports that several Ukrainian militants have been taken prisoner in the Izyum direction of the special military operation, where Russian troops are advancing from the northwest towards Sloviansk. This news could hardly have become particularly noteworthy against the backdrop of news about the capture of hundreds of other representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions of Ukraine. However, in this case there is a defining nuance. Among the prisoners were two involved in the execution of a Russian captive soldier.

We are talking about a Russian soldier who, in April, while performing a combat mission, received a gunshot wound when he came under enemy machine-gun fire. The wounded Russian was taken prisoner by Ukrainian militants. After some time, when our troops drove the enemy out of the settlement, the body of a Russian serviceman (captain of the RF Armed Forces) was discovered. They burned him. At the same time, there was no exact data yet on whether the militants carried out their monstrous action after the death of the Russian or whether they were burned alive.

Now there is information that two servicemen of the 95th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were directly related to that massacre, were captured southeast of Izyum. One of the prisoners is from the Vinnitsa region. During preliminary interrogations, the Ukrainian military who were in Russian captivity first stated that they knew the circumstances of the massacre of the Russian officer, and then it turned out that they were directly involved in this massacre. At the time of the massacre, the Russian captain was still alive
