Honoring the mission of leftists to tear down America, the leftist students at the University of Washington are demanding–among many other Marxist things–that their school first tear down an iconic namesake statue of the first president of the United States of America.
“Students at the University of Washington (UW) are demanding that the school remove a statue of George Washington, claiming that its existence “perpetuates white supremacy.” Washington, the first U.S. president, is the namesake of both the university and the state it is located in.
A petition started by the University of Washington Black Student Union titled, “Demand for the University of Washington Administration to Meet the Needs of Black Students,” demands that the university “remove statues of racist figures,” and specifically calls out George Washington.”
This petition has nearly 8,000 signatures. As preposterous as it sounds, it is being taken seriously by some considerable amount of deranged students who paid to go to this university and live in a state named after the same president. These students did not come to university to learn; they came to destroy. But, because they are trained to despise critical thinking, they have no minds of their own, Instead they offer the same NPC overtures of oppression, as if verbatim, as those before them, insisting that America’s past is simply dark and racist.
“Statues in place at the University of Washington are preservers of our dark past,” the petition reads. “The George Washington statue, in particular, symbolizes a man who owned over 300 black slaves and profited from their labor.”
This is not a history that should be glorified and celebrated as it perpetuates white supremacy and preserves its historical imposition,” the petition adds. “Thus, the George Washington Statue, along with all others that symbolize racist figures, should be removed from the University of Washington.”
So, what these people are saying is that American history must be (1) erased and not taught in context and (2) rewritten as a dark and racist tale of oppression and evil. Can this possibly end well for America or any of its constitutional values, principles, or laws? The answer to any rational Western mind is ‘no’
These leftist zombies understand this and know that enforcement of constitutional laws must be made impossible in order to dismantle the West:
“The petition goes on to demand that the university “break all ties” with the Seattle Police Department, as well as “disarm and divest” from the University of Washington Police Department.”
Of course, no leftist diatribe in 2021 would be complete without claiming ephemeral grievances of protected classes of people while demanding their untenable reparations:
“President Cauce has overlooked our experiences and refuses to take the actions necessary to making BIPOC students feel safe and welcome on campus,” states the petition.
“We have had enough,” the petition adds. “Thus black students will work together with faculty, allies and local activist to ensure that our demands are met.”
The petition, which has already garnered nearly 8,000 signatures, also calls on the school to “allocate funds to black [student organizations],” “hire more black faculty,” “increase the diversity credit requirement and make African Studies a major,” among other demands.
Understand this: these people want to eliminate the teaching of actual American history in America and instead rewrite it as a dystopian nightmare. And, while they are doing it that, they want to require the promotion of African history in order to make people hate America and love the history of a continent. That in and of itself will be the death of America and The West. But the history of Africa is filled with far darker memories than America; many countries have often been dominated by warlords, tribalism (which is equivalent to deep racism), slavery, feuds, and constantly shifting borders with constantly shifting rules and laws.
This cannot end well for America or its institutions and future generations. This rot has probably infected every school in the country to some degree. Washington University is far from alone in its lunacy.
“The University of Washington is not the only school to have recently faced calls to remove a statue of its namesake. Students at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, are also demanding that their school remove a statue of the university’s namesake from campus.”
Raise your children well and do not let them be brainwashed by this undeniable anti-Americanism.
