Of the many things to come out of this latest climate change convention at COP28 in Dubai, United Arab of Emirates, a number of nations have made a pledge to phase-out their usage of coal and shutdown remaining coal plants, in a bid to reach the settled emissions goals
On December 2nd, a number of nations joined the Powering Past Coal Alliance (PPCA) â which now has 50 member nations in total â and pledged to phase-out their coal power.
