The U.S. Army announced plans for a large-scale parade to mark its 250th anniversary, which will take place on President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday.
The event, set for June 14, 2025, will feature 6,600 soldiers, 150 military vehicles, and 50 aircraft, and is designed to showcase the Army’s extensive service to the nation.
The parade will travel from Arlington, Virginia, to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It has been classified as a “national special security event,” meaning additional federal resources will be allocated to ensure the area’s security.
This event will serve as one of the first in a series of activities celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary, which will continue through July 4, 2026.
White House officials confirmed that the parade is part of a broader yearlong celebration to commemorate the founding of the nation…
