Those who served the United States military are being forced to payback hefty amounts to the government, due to mix-ups with Veterans Affairs and orders from the top down due to the debacle in Afghanistan in 2022.
A TikTok has gone viral this week after an Army soldier named Brock vented his frustrations, and showed a receipt that is charging him a little less than $4,000 worth of military equipment, gear that he was ordered to leave behind during the rapid departure from Afghanistan last year. Now the Army wants him to pay for it, even though his commanding officers ordered him to leave behind the items.
