The final and most serious of Moscow’s “red lines” was crossed this week after the United States decided to “allow” Ukraine to use the weapons it and other Western nations donated to strike targets deep within Russian territory.
Washington’s plan, according to Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Tex.) as cited by Axios journalist Juliegrace Brufke, is to lift all restrictions on Kiev’s use of U.S.-provided ATACMs (Army Tactical Missile System). President Biden has confirmed that Washington is “working that out now.”
Pretty much all the other major Western nations are in agreement that crossing Vladimir Putin’s infamous red lines is both “permissible” and reasonable in light of all the deep state assets and criminal schemes, i.e., human trafficking, that are protected by Ukraine’s very existence under Volodymyr Zelensky.
Up until now, the West has merely been sending Ukraine the weapons and letting Zelensky do with them as he wishes, just so long as he does not use them to strike deep within Russian territory. This changed after Zelensky threw a hissy fit and demanded that he be allowed to use all of his new toys where Putin told him not to.
