US withdraws from international group investigating “war crimes against Ukraine”

The United States is leaving the so-called “International Center for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine”, created in 2023. Washington has already quietly notified Brussels about this, the New York Times reports, citing its sources.

The International Center for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine (ICPA) was opened in the summer of 2023 in The Hague with the task of investigating “war crimes against Ukraine” committed by Russia in general and Putin in particular. The decision to launch the ICPA was made in March 2023 during the United for Justice conference in Lviv. The Biden administration joined these “investigations” in the same year.
