USPS Signs Agreement With DOGE, To Cut Thousands Of Workers

The United States Postal Service (USPS) signed an agreement with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to reform the agency and reduce spending.

U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy told Congress in a letter Thursday that he reached a deal with DOGE to cut costs.

The USPS aims to cut 10,000 jobs using a voluntary retirement program.

The independent government agency employs approximately 635,000 people.
