UW student wanted for shooting WSU football player, police say

Police are searching for a 20-year-old University of Washington student accused of shooting a WSU football player during a fight at a weekend party near the Washington State University campus.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jakori Cezon Buchanan, a University of Washington student, on suspicion of first- and fourth-degree assault, according to court documents filed in Whitman County Superior Court.

Police say Buchanan allegedly shot 19-year-old Uilisone “Sone” Falealo in the abdomen early Sunday morning during a confrontation at a party at Aspen Heights Apartments on Northwest Cottonwood Lane, according to KIRO 7…
