Two men from Venezuela have been charged with capital murder in the brutal killing of a preteen girl in Texas this week, according to reports.
Just after 6 a.m. on Monday morning, the body of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray was found in a creek in north Houston.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled strangulation as her cause of death, KPRC 2 reports.
On Tuesday, the Houston Police Department released surveillance images of two persons of interest who were seen accompanying Nungaray at a 7-Eleven hours before her death.
UPDATE: Our homicide detectives want to speak with these two male persons of interest regarding the death of a 12-year-old female at 400 West Rankin Rd.

Authorities believe Nungaray may have snuck out of her house on Sunday night after her mother went to bed.
The victimâs boyfriend told police she had called him from the convenience store and said he heard the voices of two males who approached her during the call.
