A man logged in to a Zoom court appearance with what would become an unfortunate screen name, “Buttfucker 3000.” Judge Jeffrey Middleton in St. Joseph County, Michigan didn’t find it very funny.
The zoom user with the unusual screen name was Nathan Saxaon, attending court to face drug paraphernalia charges.
“We’ll bring this fool in,” Middleton said to Zoom attendees when he saw the screen name.
“Good morning sir, what’s your name?” Middleton said when Saxaon arrived in the Zoom with the screen name Buttfucker 3000. Saxaon identified himself by his legal name. “Your name’s not Buttfucker 3000. Logging in to my court with that as your screen name. What kind of idiot logs into court like that, ” Middleton fired back. “I don’t believe I typed anything like that in,” Saxaon said. “Well that’s what it says,” Middleton said.
Saxaon later pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia.
