Vivek Ramaswamy leaves DOGE ahead of expected run for Ohio governorship

Late last year, President Donald Trump announced that businessmen Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy fight to save dollars through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

While Musk still seeks to devastate bureaucratic waste, Trump’s team has revealed that Ramaswamy has quit the department.

Ramaswamy praised for “critical role in helping us create DOGE”

According to Fox News, that fact was made public this week by Anna Kelly, who serves as a spokesperson for the Trump-Vance transition team.

“Vivek Ramaswamy played a critical role in helping us create DOGE,” the network quoted Kelly as saying in a statement on Monday.

“He intends to run for elected office soon, which requires him to remain outside of DOGE, based on the structure that we announced today,” she continued.
