Was Security Forced to Physically Remove USDA Inspector General After President Trump Fired Her?

Last Friday night, President Trump fired 17 Inspector Generals to purge the government — a poignant move to mark the end of his first week back in the White House.

One of those was USDA Inspector General Phyllis Fong, who apparently refused to comply with Trump firing her.

According to a report from Reuters, security had to physically remove Fong from the building when she refused to leave.

Fong had allegedly accused President Trump of not following proper protocol to fire her and told colleagues that she would not be complying.
