An unruly bum who wandered into an eatery in Washington, D.C. was quickly arrested by local authorities, illustrating a significant change in law enforcement operations in the nation’s capital.
On Friday afternoon, a homeless man who barged into Shake Shack in Union Station was hauled out in handcuffs just minutes later.
The vagrant crashed into a trash can and then a table where Border Hawk White House Correspondent Wid Lyman was eating dinner before sitting on the floor, with no apparent intentions of ordering or paying for food.
A female customer offered to buy the man a meal, but Metropolitan Transit Police entered the burger joint moments later and removed him from the premises.

“These guys had control of Union Station before now,” noted Human Events senior editor Jack Posobiec.
Vice President JD Vance dined alongside National Guard soldiers at the same Shake Shack just two days prior during a tour of Union Station to assess the Trump administration’s crackdown on crime and degeneracy in the city.
