Democratic California Congresswoman Maxine Waters recently went on a four-minute screed about how much she can’t stand President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. A rally was held by Democratic Party lawmakers to protest Musk being given access to the Treasury Department.
During her rant, Waters accused Musk of overstepping his boundaries without being given consent by the electorate.
“We have got to tell Elon Musk that nobody elected your ass. Nobody told you you could get all of our private information. Nobody told you you could be in charge of the payments of this country,” Waters said.
The California Democrat then accused the billionaire owner of social media platform X of trying to monopolize the earnings of regular American citizens in order to get funding for his space exploration programs.
“We have told you that you’ve made enough money off our government yourself, and now you want to take everybody else’s payroll and make sure that they don’t make the kind of money that you’ve made. Oh, you want to use our money to go to Mars,” Waters continued…
