Legendary actor and director Mel Gibson, who has long resided in the Los Angeles area, had a hilarious reaction to President Trump’s visit to the fire-stricken city over the weekend.
President Trump arrived in California on Friday night after meeting with Hurricane Helene survivors earlier in the day. The president pledged to provide full federal support to both disaster areas and implored California’s Democrat leaders to work with him on it.
After arriving at LAX, the president surveyed the damage from the devastating Pacific Palisades fire that torched more than 23,000 acres. As part of the tour, the president met with several residents and listened to complaints about the cleanup process and how to best build back.
He then held a roundtable with state and Los Angeles city leaders on Friday night, Trump pressed Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass on rebuilding and recovery efforts.
