It looks like undocumented migrants are the least of our concerns when it comes to the ongoing border crisis.
According to news reports, the Mexican military has found 10 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the border, had they not found these devices they would have made their way into the United States.
Undocumented immigration is a problem, but the overwhelming majority of these folks just want to make money and send it back home. It is not the illegal immigrant M.O. to carry around IEDs or engage in acts of terrorism.
The current reports say that the items were found while the Mexican military was apprehending cartel members, but IEDs aren’t the poison of choice for cartels. Could they have been acting as couriers for some hostile foreign entity?
This is just my theory, but I believe something else is now going on at the border—something vigilant Americans have warned against since the start of the border crisis.
Namely, hostile foreign countries are now using our border as an access point to smuggle terrorist cells and weapons into the United States.
