After the Iowa caucus last night, when former President Donald Trump walked away with the win, Vivek Ramaswamy, who came in fourth, saw the writing on the wall. He dropped out and called on everyone to endorse Trump.
Ramaswamy laid out in simple terms why it was important to win.

“We are in the middle of a war in this country,” Ramaswamy said. “It’s not a war between black and white. It’s not between Democrat and Republican, even in a deeper sense. It’s between the Permanent State and the everyday citizen. Between those of us who love the United States of America and a fringe minority that hates this country and what we stand for. ”
“Right now, we need a Commander-in-Chief who will lead us in this war,” he continued. “You have to know you’re in a war in order to win one. You can’t win one if you’re asleep at the switch, have your head stuck in the stand like most Republicans. I think that’s going to require someone not bought and paid for — a businessman, not a politician. Anyone heard of that?” Ramaswamy laughed as he was referencing Trump, but himself as well…
