We’re 43 days in to the longest government shutdown in US history, depending on how you do the math.
The House is expected to vote in just a few hours on the plan to end it following a handful of Democrat Senators who magically decided to get onboard.
And so I wanted to take a moment to point out exactly why this all happened to begin with!
A full six weeks ago, the Democrats were up in arms because the Trump Administration DARED blame them for the shut down.
And Republicans even had the audacity to claim that it was because Democrats were demanding funding for FREE HEALTHCARE for illegals living in the US… ILLEGALY.
Audacious? Maybe. But was it a FACTUAL CLAIM???
That’s not a hard thing to fact check, considering Democrats have overwhelmingly gone on record with their stance!
