Jasmine Crockett, the sassy and toxically self-absorbed Democratic congresswoman from Texas, attempted to shame Republican lawmakers who have taken money from people named Jeffrey Epstein. None of the donations she mentioned came from the jet-setting pedophile Jeffrey Epstein; they were individuals who shared his name, including a Long Island neurosurgeon who is now considering donating to Crockett to give her a taste of her own medicine. Crockett leveled the accusations while defending her Democratic colleague, U.S. Virgin Islands delegate Stacey Plaskett, who actually took money from the pervert Jeffrey Epstein and even texted him during a committee hearing in 2019.
Crockett insisted she was “not attempting to mislead anybody.” She just didn’t have time to vet the information her staff handed to her after googling for 20 minutes. “I never said that it was that Jeffrey Epstein,” the congresswoman told CNN. “So my team, what they did is they googled, and that is specifically why I said ‘a Jeffrey Epstein.'” Crockett is widely regarded as one of the Democratic Party’s most talented politicians.
