‘Where is AOC?’ Lara Trump wants to know where the border drama queen is now

By  Robert Jonathan

President Trump’s daughter-in-law, and newly minted Fox News contributor, Lara Trump says liberals are hypocrites when it comes to their concerns or lack thereof about the current humanitarian and law enforcement crisis at the southern U.S. border prompted by a massive surge of illegal migrants, including minors, that has overwhelmed facilities and resources there.

Lara Trump particularly called out a currently far less vocal U.S. Rep.  Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) who famously had a picture-taking session outside a detention center when she expressed her fury over the faux kids-in-cages controversy during President Trump’s administration.

“It’s total hypocrisy,” Lara Trump said on “Fox & Friends” on the Fox News Channel on Monday, alluding to the severely overcrowded facilities. “The way they covered this under the Trump administration versus the Biden administration is total hypocrisy. Where is the outrage from the folks on the left?

“Where is AOC down there doing a photo op, crying in front of a wall, because I have news for her; it is much worse right now than it ever was under the Trump administration. Yet it has been crickets from those folks…”

Lara Trump, who was one of former President’s Trump’s most effective surrogates on the campaign trail, rejected blame-shifting White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s criticism of the Trump immigration enforcement policies, in contrast to Biden’s that supposedly included, among other things, sending migrant children back on a “treacherous journey” or “ripping kids from the arms of their parents.”

“Totally ridiculous, obviously none of that was the case,” Trump responded. “In fact, we had the most secure border under my father-in-law, under President Donald Trump, that we have had in decades, and I think the best thing possible is to discourage people from making that really dangerous, awful journey north through our southern border.

“The problem is that the Biden administration has said, ‘Well if they come, we’ll take you in,’ so guess what’s gonna continue to happen? You’re going to continue to have all of these children flooding our southern border.”

“It is so sad; it is so hard to watch, but we have to get this under control. This is not fair to these kids; it’s not fair to Americans who are footing the bill now…for illegal immigrants, people that are breaking our law coming to America,” Trump added.

Eric Trump’s wife also implied that the end game for the politicized Biden administration’s catch-and-release policy is to create eventually more Democrat voters who can even cast ballots without identification if H.R. 1 ever becomes law. “If we let everybody just free flow over our southern border, we lose our country,” she warned.

On a lighter note, upon being welcomed for the first time as an official FNC contributor by Ainsley Earhardt at the beginning of the segment, Lara Trump joked that “I sort of feel like I’ve been an unofficial member of the team for so long….It was kind of a joke over the past five years. I would come there so often that the security guards were like, ‘Maybe we should just give you a key.’”

Trump also indicated that running for U.S. Senate from her home state of North Carolina is still on the table and that she would follow Fox News’ ethical protocols (which likely means the end of the new TV gig) if she decided to become a candidate for federal office.
