Country Music icon Willie Nelson, 91, cancelled his performance at the Outlaw Music Festival on Friday for health reasons, according to a statement released on his social media platforms.
“We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor’s orders, has been advised to rest for the next four days,” the statement said. Thankfully, Nelson is expected to “make a full recovery and join the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.”
Nelson was scheduled to perform Friday in Georgia as part of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, which he is headlining. The 91-year-old was scheduled for back-to-back performances on Friday and Saturday in North Carolina before the cancellation.
