The Racine County sheriff in Wisconsin has accused the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) of breaking the law by telling local elections officials not to send poll workers into nursing homes to assist residents with voting last November.

During a press conference on Thursday, Sheriff Christopher Schmaling called on the Wisconsin Department of Justice to launch a statewide investigation, alleging that the Wisconsin Election Commission took advantage of impaired seniors.
