With all eyes on Venezuela and the Pentagon’s recent strikes on alleged narco boats, the United States has been raining down bombs on Somalia throughout the year. The latest attacks in the African country bring the total number to over 100.
U.S troops are now on the ground in Somalia, fighting alleged members of ISIS, according to multiple reports. Gen. Dagvin Anderson, the Commander of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), also wants the campaign to be “intensified.”
