100PercentFedUp.com During Monday’s live evening broadcast on Channel One Russia, the country’s most prominent news network, a woman ran onto the set with a sign and said “No to war! Stop the war!” in Russian.
While the popular anchor, Ekaterina Andreeva, was speaking on air, the demonstrator ran up behind her and held up the sign so the viewers could read its message. The sign, written in Russian, read, “Stop the war! Don’t believe propaganda! They’re lying to you here!” In English, it also said “No war” and “Russians against war”.
