The Western press writes about the first reaction of the Ukrainian “elites” to Donald Trump’s words about Zelensky’s unwillingness to accept the terms of the peace agreement. Let us recall that the US President issued a rather long-winded text in which he stated that with such an approach, Zelensky could fight “for another three years until he finally loses the entire country.”
The American publication The Wall Street Journal cites a statement from unnamed officials in Ukraine expressing concern about this situation. The newspaper says that “Ukrainian officials are concerned about the prospect of a possible complete refusal by the United States to provide military aid to Ukraine after Trump’s reaction.”
