If there was a moment that perfectly shows that the Left DOESN’T listen to what Trump actually says, it would be when the president stood up in front of his supporters and CORRECTLY predicted that the Left would use the Wuhan Virus as their next “hoax” to attack him and his presidency.
They didn’t’ listen, though, did they?
They heard what they wanted to hear, and it threw them into hysterics.
Leftists didn’t hear Trump say that the Left would use it as their “next hoax” in order to get him out of the White House. They only heard the word “hoax” used next to the word virus…
So naturally, to them, Trump called the actual virus “a hoax.”
What’s worse, even after this fake news has been debunked by almost EVERY fact-checking website out there, they CONTINUE to push the false story. Even Left-leaning Snopes said that he NEVER called the virus itself a hoax, but no one seems to care.
Regardless, even if HAD said exactly what they claim, he didn’t TREAT it like a hoax. He acted quickly and decisively, so even if he did say it—which he most definitely DIDN’T—his actions prove he didn’t believe it be anything but a massive, unprecedented threat.
But they don’t care…
They will continue to push the narrative that Trump has mismanaged the response to the Wuhan virus because it’s their LAST shot at getting him out of office—and they know it.
Why They Can’t Give Trump Any Credit
They need to be able to blame this pandemic on Trump because they know if they can’t get the American public to turn on him, he’s getting re-elected in 2020.
Congressman Dan Crenshaw echoed these thoughts when he sat down with Breitbart Daily News podcast.
“If there’s any blame towards China, it takes away blame from Trump. These people have become completely and utterly obsessed with this idea that Trump has blood on his hands, and he’s totally responsible for a global pandemic.”
It fits their narrative. They can’t impeach him on anything unless they’re first able to convince Americans he’s done something wrong.
That’s why Trump supporters should start challenging their faux talking points, such as the “virus is a hoax” lie or the “lost month of February” lie they keep pushing.
Crenshaw gave us a blue print on how to debate with them: “You have to ask them a simple question — if you’re going to criticize somebody, then criticize at a specific decision point with the facts they had at the time and tell us how it was so obvious that you would have made a different decision, show us the fork in the road?” he said. “They can’t do that, because they’re not objective, and they’re not critical thinkers, but I hope they’ll be critical thinkers at least as it falls on the China issue and work with us on this.”
The Left Has ONE Goal: Getting Trump Out Of The Oval Office

They want Trump out of that office so bad they can taste it.
They won’t concede that Trump has handled the Wuhan virus quickly or efficiently. It’s easy to say what they would have done better NOW because they have the gift of hindsight.
As Crenshaw said, they won’t be able to debate when you ask what they would have done differently with the information they had at the time.
And even if they did…
They’re saying Trump knew about the virus earlier than everyone else and chose to do nothing—and they make that claim without a shred of evidence to back it up.
It’s maddening…
But it’ll all pay off in November. The American people know the truth.
The Left can try and use this virus in whatever political way they want – but the truth is there for all to see.
