Authorities in Big Horn County, Wyoming, are investigating a tragic case in which a mother fatally shot three of her children and critically wounded a fourth before turning the gun on herself. Her husband has defended her, stating that she struggled with severe mental health issues and was not a “monster.”
The incident unfolded on Monday afternoon when 32-year-old Tranyelle Harshman called 911, reporting that her four daughters had been shot inside their home, the New York Post reports. She provided their locations before suddenly ending the call.
The dispatcher pleaded with her to stay on the line, but she repeatedly stated, “It was too late.”
